Day 1DurbanCheck out glitzy Durban.
Day 2Mabandala Mountain BikingHop in the saddle and make for a rural village to enjoy a warm welcome and traditional hospitality. Spend a night in a local family's home.
Day 3Mabandala CommunityBe immersed in the culture of the Mabandala people, learn the secrets of herbal medicine from the village healer and maybe even take on the regional stick-fighting champion.
Day 4Mehloding Mountain BikingCycle towards the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains, an imposing line of ragged peaks.
Day 5Mehloding HikingFlex muscles on a full day of hiking, pausing to soak up views of the surrounding valleys and inspect bushman rock art.
Days 6-7Sani TopScale Nthaba Nthenyana, the tallest peak south of Mt Kilimanjaro, if the weather is fine. Then perhaps kick back with a beer in Africa's highest pub.
