This evening, get a first taste of the Northern Territory's natural beauty watching the sunset over Fannie Bay or join locals in their love of beer at a popular watering hole. | | Days 2-3 | Kakadu National Park | Brimming with exotic wildlife and ancient Aboriginal sites, the Kakadu National Park is a captivating place to explore. See centuries-old colourful rock paintings at Nourlangie Rock, depicting many bush creatures including barramundi, goannas, possums and wallabies. Later, take the half-day Murdudjurl Cultural Tour to learn about the culture, customs and history of the local Aboriginal people before falling asleep under the stars. Enjoy another big day out, taking 4WDs over some of the region's most remote terrain to Twin Falls. Rainwater-fed, the waterfall flows only during the wet, but the plunge pool remains breathtaking all year-round. Sail through a spectacular gorge, stopping on secluded stretch of beach for a picnic lunch.
