The rest of the day is at leisure.Hotel: Crowne Plaza Alice Springs | | Day 2 | Uluru (Ayers Rock) | Travel south from Alice Springs through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for an optional camel ride and later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner). Enjoy the scenery as you pass through the beautiful rugged landscape of 'the Outback' before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Travel into the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and explore the Olgas, including time to walk into Walpa Gorge, before traveling to the Sunset at Uluru viewing area to watch sunset and the changing colors of Uluru, while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine.Hotel: Desert Gardens Hotel | | Day 3 | Uluru (Ayers Rock) | This morning there is the option to join the Sunrise at Uluru, Climb and Base Tour or for the non-climbers, the Sunrise at Uluru and Guided Cultural Base Walk. Both tours include watching the early morning sunrise at mighty Uluru, a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first option allows time for climbing, while the second includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. Time is also available for an optional scenic flight.
